Accompanying Persons Program

Those who are accompanying delegates to ISABE2019 can register for the Accompanying Persons Program. This will include a dedicated excursion, with catered lunch, in the Canberra area as well as informal guided meet ups on the other days at some of the main cultural and social locations around central Canberra. Registration also includes tickets to the Welcome Reception, the Industry Dinner and the ISABE Conference Banquet.

Registration for the Accompanying Persons Program includes the following

  • Sunday

    Evening: Welcome Drinks at the NCCC

  • Monday

    Morning: Tour of Canberra’s Cultural Loop including National Museum of Australia (www.nma.gov.au), National Capital Exhibition, National Library of Australia (www.nla.gov.au)

    Afternoon: At leisure to explore Canberra

    Evening: Welcome Dinner at the Australian War Memorial (www.awm.gov.au)

  • Tuesday

    Late Morning/Early Afternoon: Excursion to the Canberra Hinterland with lunch at a local winery

    Evening: At leisure to experience Canberra’s wide range of eateries (those accompanying Board Members or Keynote speakers - Dinner at the Boat House Restaurant)

  • Wednesday

    Morning: At leisure to explore Canberra

    Afternoon: Conference excursion to the NASA DSCC (www.cdscc.nasa.gov) and the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve (www.tidbinbilla.act.gov.au)

    Evening: At leisure to experience Canberra’s wide range of eateries

  • Thursday

    Morning: Meet up at Floriade (floriadeaustralia.com)

    Afternoon: At leisure to explore Canberra

    Evening: Conference Banquet at the National Arboretum (www.nationalarboretum.act.gov.au)

  • Friday

    Informal meet ups, otherwise at leisure to explore Canberra
